Introduction to class was given to students who were absent the previous class. Photoshop was introduced and the students read the first 5 pages of their packet given during introduction.
After the 5 pages were read, the class collectively learned how to scan an image into photoshop using a home scanner and the software provided.

1.start photoshop.

2.choosefile>import>wia support.

3.click browse to designate a place on your computer to store your scanned images.

4.to make sure the image opens in photoshop,select the open acquired images in photoshop option.

5.click start.

6.select the scanner you want to use.

7click start.

8.on the next page specify the type of image you are scanning.

9.select adjust the quality of the scanned picture.(you select resolution of 300 or greater).

10.click ok.

11.click preview to view the scan in the preview window.

12.click scan to scan the image.

13.choosefile>save to save the image.
